Something different

Crocheting isn't my only passion. Today I'd like to share some results of my playing with very friendly  computer software. I've been spending some time trying to discover and learn new things about digital creating and editing images and this is what I got after a while. I hope you like this golden - brown themed animation.

Holiday ornaments part1 Crochet Stars

I usually don't prepare Christmas decorations, cause I don't celebrate holidays, but the simple stars I made can be used for winter window or room decoration.
Of course I could hang them on my Xmas tree if I had one.

For me, making this project was just another way to use some yarn scraps.
The pattern is extremely simple. You can easily figure it out just from the pictures I posted, but if you have a problem, please leave a comment and I will send you description how to make these stars step by step.

Triangle chrochet shawl

It took me two evenings to make this triangle shawl.
I used a good quality soft acrylic yarn, which I had stored for some special occasion.
Pattern for this project is available in web, but since I'm not sure who is the author or owner  I won't share it here.

If you don't have idea for original xmas gifts, such cozy and pretty crochet shawl will be a perfect choice and you still have enough time to make one yourself.

Colourful Scraps Part 1: Purple and pink

Have you got a nice collection of yarn scraps and leftover of all possible types and colours?
Not enough to make some serious project? And of course you have no idea what to with these cute, fluffy, fantasy yarns.

First of all, you need to pick the colours and yarns that will match each other and compose nicely.
If you have a bunch of thick, soft yarn leftovers, you can easily create a small simple rug or a pillow.
And this is exactly what I decided to do. I used my purple, pink and heather yarn leftovers to make a round pillow.
